Another great achievement for sixteen year old Hopiness’ wheelchair tennis talent Jef Vandorpe last week. In Switzerland, he made it into the final of the Sion Indoor tournament ($ 14 000, ITF 3 Series).
Jef didn’t lose a set on his way to the final, but couldn’t manage to overcome Spanish fourth seeded Martin De La Puente (ITF Wheelchair-18): 6-3 and 7-6 (4).
On the ranking, Jef moves on to place 26.
