Two philanthropists, close friends of Hopiness, have decided to set up the Friends of Hopiness fund with the aim of supporting 3 or 4 Belgian talents competing in the more “restricted” sports (e.g. skiing, fencing, rowing, triathlon etc.) and who don’t have the financial resources to cover the costs of their development as top-level sporting hopes. These sports have low media coverage. Of course, sponsors and prize money are woefully scarce. The Friends of Hopiness Fund is entirely managed by the Roi Badouin Foundation.
